I have learned a lot of new things in AVID. But I learned how to write Cornell Notes very accurate and to write good question. Annotation was also something very new to me but I learned in the past few days I've been in class with my amazing teacher. Something difficult was doing the Tutorial Request Form because at first I really didn't explain how to do it but I learned to do them better each time. What gets me a little frustrating is that I get shy to speak in front of the whole class because I just feel like there not going to like what I say. I can say that Cornell notes has helped me with my 4 other classes because its makes everything more easier and it helps me to study when I have a test. Being in AVID is amazing because it helps me get more good grades and with that I can teach someone that is not in AVID how to do Cornell notes. AVID has changed the way I studied the ways I use to study was just a wrong way to study but I learned how to study by using flash cards, going through the pass notes I've taken, and asking help with any of my teachers to ask for more help. I really want to improvement in my public speaking I think that can affect my grade in other classes because I have to be doing presentations and reading in front of all my classes.I want AVID to give me more confidence of myself to speak in front of whole the class and to participle ever time my teacher asks a question.
